What makes you an expert?

We’ve been the leading “white hat” agency since 2013.  We’ve helped hundreds of clients during this time, always within the stricture of Wikipedia policy, especially Conflict of Interest disclosure. Any vendor will say they know and follow Wikipedia policy – but if they don’t follow the policies public Conflict of Interest disclosure and prior submission of all content for review by independent editors, then they are by Wikipedia’s definition a “black hat.”   Black hats pretend to be volunteers to the long-term detriment of their clients.

We have to know Wikipedia policy inside and out because everything we work on will be heavily scrutinized by independent editors. We never skip this step. While our founder was a volunteer Wikipedia editor before starting as a paid consultant, being a volunteer is an entirely different world than being a “white hat” paid consultant. The formality of proposals and rigors of prior review are not experienced by volunteers or black hats pretending to be volunteers.

Since we work with so many clients, we have a keen sense of current best practices, reviewer preferences, and procedural details, like the average wait times on review queues.

In the real world, everyone on our team is a senior professional. Professional backgrounds include lawyers, journalists and academics. We work together as a team, reviewing every assignment together before it is shown to the client.
